Terms of Service

Effective date: July 15, 2026. Plain-English terms — because terms you can't understand protect nobody.

1. Who we are

PrinterCareUSA ("we," "us") provides independent remote technical support for consumer printers to customers in the United States. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any printer manufacturer.

2. The service

After you request a callback, a technician contacts you, diagnoses the issue by phone, and — with your explicit consent — starts a remote screen session to perform the fix. You may observe the entire session and may terminate it at any time. Remote sessions are limited to resolving the issue you requested help with.

3. Pricing and payment

Single fixes are charged at the flat rate published on our pricing page, payable only after the fix is verified by a successful test print or equivalent confirmation. If we cannot fix your issue, no charge applies. Payment is collected by secure card payment link. We never request payment by gift card, wire transfer, cryptocurrency, or cash apps, and we never request your banking passwords.

4. The Printer Care Plan

The annual plan covers unlimited remote software-level support for printers at one household address, as described on the Care Plan page. It excludes physical hardware repair and parts. The plan renews annually; you may cancel renewal any time by emailing support@printercareusa.com. Refunds for the plan are governed by our Refund Policy.

5. What we can't do

Remote support cannot repair physical hardware failures. Where we diagnose a hardware fault, we will inform you and end the session at no charge. We do not provide support for business fleets, print servers, or commercial production equipment under these consumer terms.

6. Your responsibilities

You confirm you own or are authorized to use the computer and printer we work on, and that you have backed up any data you consider critical before a session. You agree to remain present during remote sessions.

7. Liability

Our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid for that service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for faults that existed prior to our session. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your rights under US state consumer protection laws.

8. Disputes

Contact us first — genuinely, we resolve almost everything directly at support@printercareusa.com. These terms are governed by the laws applicable in your state of residence for consumer transactions.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; the effective date above always reflects the current version. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.

Payment Authorization & Electronic Signatures

Before service is completed, customers review and electronically sign a Service Authorization stating the service to be performed and the amount payable upon a successful fix. By typing your name, drawing your signature, and checking the consent box, you agree to sign electronically under the U.S. Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (E-SIGN Act, 15 U.S.C. ch. 96), and you authorize PrinterCare USA LLC to charge the stated amount after your issue is resolved and after you confirm the fix. A copy of each signed authorization, including timestamp and IP address, is retained on file and emailed to you.

Secure Processing Fee

A Secure Processing fee is added to each transaction (one-time repairs, custom service invoices, and Printer Care Plans). This fee covers encrypted payment handling. It is calculated automatically and is always displayed as its own line item, as an exact dollar amount, before you pay.

Fix Confirmation Before Payment

For pay-after-fix repairs, payment is requested only after (a) your signed Service Authorization is on file and (b) you confirm — by one click from your email — that your printer is working. If anything is still wrong, contact us instead of confirming and we will continue working on your issue at no charge.

Refund Windows

One-time repairs ($49 or custom amounts): you pay only after a successful fix — if we cannot fix your printer, you owe $0. If the same problem returns within 7 days of your fix, we re-fix it free. If we cannot re-fix it, we will refund your repair payment in full.

Printer Care Plans (1-year $99, 2-year $189, 3-year $249, 5-year $349): each plan is a single upfront payment for the full term, with no auto-renewal and nothing stored for future billing. Fully refundable within 14 days of purchase if no repair service has been used; after 14 days the plan fee is non-refundable for the remainder of the term.

PrinterCare Plan Terms & Fair Use

The PrinterCare Plan covers unlimited remote repair support for one (1) printer registered to the plan, with priority queue access and no per-fix fees. Fair use: the plan covers genuine troubleshooting and repair of the registered printer; it does not cover hardware parts, on-site visits, business fleets, or systematic use across multiple devices. We may contact you to discuss usage that indicates more than one printer, and may limit or cancel (with a pro-rata refund of the unused period) plans used outside these terms.

Disputes & Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first at support@printercareusa.com or (646) 698-4229 — we resolve billing questions quickly, and our records include your signed authorization and fix confirmation. Charges appear on your statement as PRINTERCAREUSA.
